Stephanie Bonitz is currently the Director of Bands in the Mogadore Local Schools. She serves the band program at the Mogadore Junior/Senior High School as well as at O.H. Somers elementary. In addition to instructing the Wildcat Marching Band, she is also the Mogadore Junior/Senior High School Director of Choirs and general music instructor.
Mrs. Bonitz received her Bachelor of Education in Music from The University of Akron and her Master of Music Education from Boston University. Prior to her work at Mogadore, Mrs. Bonitz was the Director of Bands at Edon Northwest Local Schools in Williams County, Ohio from 2008-2013. She was responsible for instructing the Edon Marching Band, Jazz Band, Junior High Band, Sixth Grade Band, Fifth Grade Band, Junior High Choir, Seventh and Eighth Grade General Music, Third and Fourth Grade General Music, and assisted the High School Choir program.
Calvin Miller attended Manchester High School and graduated in 2012. Mr. Miller currently attends the University of Akron pursuing a Music Education/Percussion Performance Degree. He is a current member of the 122nd Ohio Army National Guard Band. Mr. Miller has participated in ensembles such as the University of Akron Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Combo, Jazz Lab Band, New Music Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. Mr. Miller plans on graduating in 2018 and pursuing a Master's Degree in Percussion Performance.
Emily Blauman is a junior at Kent State University and is pursuing a degree in Music Education. There she plays clarinet and is a part of the Kent State Wind Ensemble. She has performed with the Kent State Marching Band as a color guard member and is the president of the Kent State Chapter of the Ohio Collegiate Music Education Association. This is her second year as the Mogadore High School Color Guard Instructor, and she enjoys working with the students and seeing them improve more and more every day.
